*Drumroll*

I announce Pam Goes Travelling officially opens today. *throw confettis into the air*

All entries before this post are imported from my personal blog.

Pardon me if you are unable to see photos from the posts before this as I upload the photos using free Photobucket account which limit my bandwidth and there are a whole lot of photos so I do not intend to switch them over because there is just too much work.

A little history and how this site came about…

I started blogging out of fun in 2004, it was hosted in Blogspot. After much contemplation, I shifted from Blogspot to WordPress.com a few years ago before deciding to have a dedicate a website just for my love for travelling. With the convenience of social media platforms like Facebook/ Twitter/ Instagram it is hard maintaining my blog and the only theme I seems to be more diligently updating (although they are not very timely) are my travel entries which I took pride in writing and editing photos.

From coming up and registering of domain name to signing up for a host server and getting the site up and running, I did this all by myself (with some help on troubleshooting at host server help desk). Usually I will seek friends’ advise or help out of convenience but thanks to all the dummy guides on the world wide web, I am able to do this all by myself. It is an achievement, I feel damn proud of myself! Sealed

The work around this website is about 80% done, there will still be some minor tweaking for a while and I may….. look into changing site template,

So what now?

I will update on yet another Taiwan trip. (Yes, there are 2 trips to Taiwan this year!) After the countdown to 2013 holiday in Taiwan, the last travelling which I made 2 weeks back is to back to same country. As much as I love Taiwan for its people, food, culture and sceneries, going back to the same country within half a year is not really my style. Well, not that I am allowed to choose another destination but I am not complaining! It was a company team building trip so flight and accommodations are all paid for. We were even given allowance to spend during meal times (when we are not eating together that is).

Taking my second solo trip next week, I have never clocked miles that far. Another first for me to a brand new place, a brand new country and continent which I have never explore before. I ought to feel excited but I think the excitement die-ed after I finish booking my accommodations. Not that I am fretting because I know the excitement will come crawling back once I start packing for it this weekend!

Keen to make a guess which country will I be heading to?

‘Till then, ciao!
